My music video uses conventions from my genre because it has many of the same shots, editing, lighting, and costumes that are used in my music video. For example, as I researched into my genre “pop”. A music video that I researched is “Love me harder” by Ariana Grande. In this music video it uses establishing shots, medium close-up, and tracking shots. In my music video I incorporated these shots into it. Such as in scene nine there is an establishing shot of Publix. And as the girl (main character) walks out of Publix there is a medium close-up of her holding flowers. Another example is a tracking shot used in scene three of her walking in the neighborhood. Production Blog: Making final edits.

 I continued to finish editing on where I left on. I'm working on the next scene where the girl keeps checking her phone for a message from her ex. But, ends up throwing it on the floor because, he hasn't answered her all day. For this scene I use the fade-in effect. To do this I went to "effects" and chose the "fade-in effect". After, I use the fade-out effect after she threw the phone on the floor. To do this I clicked on the scene. Then went to "effects" and choose "fade-out". The next scene is an over-shoulder and pan shot of her at the river reading the letter the girl ex boyfriend wrote for her. For this scene it started with the effect "fade-in". I decided not use ay transitions for the next of her throwing away the letter in the trash can. This is because, I thought it look good already without it since, this scene had a low angel. I felt that it was able to convey the message through this low angel so, I left it how it
