The process of choosing my photos, videos, and songs, for my commercial was hard. It was a hard process because it took me a while to pick the photos and I didn't have much photo's so I had to ask my mom to send me photos. Which took awhile. I choose the photos I did because I really liked these photos as some of them showed me in places I traveled to that I enjoyed. In one of the photo's I am in Italy and the other one I'm in Ukraine. I also wanted to show my family because there are really important to me. And then I chose the one of me eating a cupcake because I really liked that photo of me and also I made those cupcakes with my mom. For my videos, I chose one of me and my siblings and one with my friend. I chose these because I thought it was a special moment with me and my siblings. I chose the one with my friend because she is one of my closest friends who I met last year and who I got really close with. Picking the songs was an easy process because I picked my favorite songs. The first song was Charismatic by Hailey Knox. My sister introduced me to this song it's been one of my favorite ever since. I like the song because of the meaning the beat and the lyrics. The meaning of this song is about self-acceptance and breaking from society's expectations. Which I relate to a lot. In middle school, I became really insecure about myself and found it hard to be myself. But recently I started to become more comfortable with myself and not care about what anyone else thinks but only what I care about. The next song I picked was Ditto by New Jeans. This is also one of my favorite songs. I also love the group New Jeans. New Jeans is a girl group that makes Korean music also known as kpop. I love K-pop which is why I wanted to choose a K-pop song. This song is about wanting a romantic relationship with someone but doesn't want to take the risk of losing them. I don't relate to the song but I relate to the music video of the song. The music video shows cases a different meaning from the song. It's about the relationship between fans and idols. It shows how idols help fans distract them from reality but when a problem occurs in their life they realize they are actually lonely and are longing for someone to understand and validate their experiences. But no one is there for them and their idols obviously are not there for them either. I relate to this because K-pop helped me escape reality but it also helped me realize how detached it made me from reality which I knew was a problem that I had to overcome. Bye and thank you for reading.
On February 28 I was finding the music to use for my opening sequence. For my opening sequence, I needed to use copyright-free music. I was able to find some on YouTube that were copyright-free by searching for them. I needed to find an upbeat and cheerful song to use for the beginning of the opening sequence when the main character is listening to music. So, the first thing I searched for was copyright-free music for pop. The song that I found and used was Royalty Free uploaded by a YouTube channel that allows them to use their music as long as you give them credit. I used the "BreakingCopyright" YouTube channel's "Crazy About You" song for the beginning of my opening sequence. Another song that I used that was able to be free was "Mystery 7 Suspense Background Music for Films & Documentaries" by the YouTube channel "LVKEHOUSE" which allows anyone to use these sounds without any copyright claims. To find the mysterious sound effects I w...
