Filming at the park

The last scene I needed to film was at the park. I filmed these scenes on February twelve. The first thing I filmed was an establishment shot of the park. I filmed this because this was easy I didn't need to act. After filming that my sister did the rest of the filming and I did the acting. The first scene I filmed was me talking to my dog for this it was a little bit hard to do because I had to tell my dog to catch the ball., But, my dog doesn't know how to play fetch. So, to film this scene it was hard to do and required many tries to film it. Due to this, it took thirty minutes to film this one small scene. After talking to my dog and throwing the ball. I moved on to the next scene. Which is me answering the phone after I threw my dog's ball. For this scene, I'm having a dialogue with an unknown person. This was easy to film because the call only lasted about ten seconds. For this, I changed my sister's icon to "Unknown called ID" to make it seem like someone random was calling me but it was actually her. This took ten minutes to film to set everything up and film it correctly. After filming the call scene I had to film the scene of the stalker sitting on the bench by the main character because he is in the park with her. This was easy to do I used the same prop for the stalker which was the black hoodie. And just sat on a bench while my sister filmed me sitting on it, This took around ten minutes to do like the last scene. After the call between the stalker and the main character ended I had to film the scene when the main character noticed her dog was missing. For this scene, I had to do a lot of acting which is something I'm not best at. So, it took a while to do around twenty minutes. I had to run and act like I was stressed and panicking. Many angles needed to be filmed. I had to call 911 too. So a lot of things happened in this scene. That was the last scene I had to film. Thank you for reading and see you in the next blog!

Adding transitions and overlays

On February 27 I continued to edit my opening sequence. On this day I did overlays and added transitions. I wanted to add an overlay for the scene when the main character was calling her friend on the bed. To do this I changed my own contact's name to "bestie" and made it look like I was calling someone. I took a picture of the call. Then imported the picture to CapCut. To do this I clicked on the "add photo" at the bottom of CapCut and then chose the photo I wanted. After I clicked on the photo went to the options on the bottom and chose "overlay". After choosing the overlay I dragged it to the scene where I wanted. Adjusted the size and placed it on top of my phone. Then adjusted the length of the overlay of how long I wanted to have it on the screen. This was a little bit hard to do because I hadn't done something like this before. So, to add this overlay it took about forty-five minutes or more to do. I did the same steps for the "unknown...

Finding music and adding it to the opening sequence

On February 28 I was finding the music to use for my opening sequence. For my opening sequence, I needed to use copyright-free music. I was able to find some on YouTube that were copyright-free by searching for them. I needed to find an upbeat and cheerful song to use for the beginning of the opening sequence when the main character is listening to music. So, the first thing I searched for was copyright-free music for pop. The song that I found and used was Royalty Free uploaded by a YouTube channel that allows them to use their music as long as you give them credit. I used the "BreakingCopyright" YouTube channel's "Crazy About You" song for the beginning of my opening sequence. Another song that I used that was able to be free was "Mystery 7 Suspense Background Music for Films & Documentaries" by the YouTube channel "LVKEHOUSE" which allows anyone to use these sounds without any copyright claims. To find the mysterious sound effects I w...
