Filming the neighborhood scenes

I continued to film for the next scenes. My next day of filming was on February five. On this day I filmed the neighborhood scenes of the main character walking her dog to the party. The first thing I filmed was a tilt shot of the blue sky. This was easy and simple to do. My sister, there helped me film the next scenes because I was playing the main character role. The tilt shot would go from the sky to me walking my dog in the neighborhood. I had few lines so, I had to do some acting. For this scene me walking with my dog I was talking to my dog and saying how sunny it was. This took a few tries because I kept messing up the script or my dog wouldn't walk when filming was starting. So, it took a while to do that scene. It took around twenty-five minutes to thirty.  After finishing the scene with me talking. I had to film more scenes of me walking my dog. There were many angles I wanted to incorporate so, I had to act walking my dog a few times. When my sister finished filming my angles I had to make sure they were right or if I didn't like them so, that process took a while to do. After finishing the scenes with my walking the dog and talking to him. I moved on to the next one which is an over-shoulder shot of the stalker. For this scene, I used a prop which is a black jacket with a hood. To film this scene I put on the jacket put the hood over my head and stood a distance from where the main character was walking (me) to make it seem like someone was following her. This was much easier to film compared to walking the dog scene. This took around twenty minutes or more because I had to make sure the angle looked good and had to get ready for this scene. The last scene I needed to film was at the park. I filmed these scenes on February twelve. The first thing I filmed was an establishment shot of the park. I filmed this because this was easy I didn't need to act. After filming that my sister did the rest of the filming and I did the acting. The first scene I filmed was me talking to my dog for this it was a little bit hard to do because I had to tell my dog to catch the ball., But, my dog doesn't know how to play fetch. So, to film this scene it was hard to do and required many tries to film it. Due to this, it took thirty minutes to film this one small scene. After talking to my dog and throwing the ball. I moved on to the next scene. Which is me answering the phone after I threw my dog's ball. For this scene, I'm having a dialogue with an unknown person. This was easy to film because the call only lasted about ten seconds. For this, I changed my sister's icon to "Unknown called ID" to make it seem like someone random was calling me but it was actually her. This took ten minutes to film to set everything up and film it correctly. After filming the call scene I had to film the scene of the stalker sitting on the bench by the main character because he is in the park with her. This was easy to do I used the same prop for the stalker which was the black hoodie. And just sat on a bench while my sister filmed me sitting on it, This took around ten minutes to do like the last scene. After the call between the stalker and the main character ended I had to film the scene when the main character noticed her dog was missing. For this scene, I had to do a lot of acting which is something I'm not best at. So, it took a while to do around twenty minutes. I had to run and act like I was stressed and panicking. Many angles needed to be filmed. I had to call 911 too. So a lot of things happened in this scene. That was the last scene I had to film. Thank you for reading and see you in the next blog!

Finding music and adding it to the opening sequence

On February 28 I was finding the music to use for my opening sequence. For my opening sequence, I needed to use copyright-free music. I was able to find some on YouTube that were copyright-free by searching for them. I needed to find an upbeat and cheerful song to use for the beginning of the opening sequence when the main character is listening to music. So, the first thing I searched for was copyright-free music for pop. The song that I found and used was Royalty Free uploaded by a YouTube channel that allows them to use their music as long as you give them credit. I used the "BreakingCopyright" YouTube channel's "Crazy About You" song for the beginning of my opening sequence. Another song that I used that was able to be free was "Mystery 7 Suspense Background Music for Films & Documentaries" by the YouTube channel "LVKEHOUSE" which allows anyone to use these sounds without any copyright claims. To find the mysterious sound effects I w...

Doing a film review + adding changes to it

On March 11 I had my sister do a film review of my opening sequence. My sister reviewed it and said that she liked the beginning shot and the music chosen for the beginning of the opening sequence. However, she did make a few suggestions to change the lightning to make it have a more mysterious vibe. So, one of the first changes I made was to adjust the lighting to darker. To do this I clicked on my opening sequence went to the bottom of the options and chose "adjust". With these options, I was able to adjust my lighting to make it have a more mysterious vibe. She also suggested to increase the volume of the main character talking because she couldn't understand what she said in the opening sequence. I went into CapCut to fix these by increasing the volume on the parts where the main character is speaking. To do this I clicked on the audio of the scene where she was talking and there was an option to increase the volume so, I just adjusted the volume to higher to make su...
