Importing the scenes on CapCut

I started to edit my opening sequence together. I began editing on February twenty third. On this day I put all of my scenes on Capcut and adjusted the lengths. The first thing I did was open Capcut. I use the app on my phone so, its easy to do this. Once adding the clips to Capcut on the bottom of the screen it has different tabs I can choose the "edit" tab. After clicking on the tab it takes me to this page where I can make my own project. To do this I click on the "new project" button on the app. After clicking on this button it takes me to my camera roll. It has the options to use videos, photos, or live photos. I click on the "video" option. After clicking on this option I choose all of my scenes for my opening sequence. I do this by clicking on the video then choosing the "add" option on the bottom right corner of the screen. After doing this it take me to where I can add effects, music, and transitions to the video. It imports all of my clips. I start by rearranging my clips in order of scenes. I was able to fix the order by holding it down on my screen and dragging it. To drop it I left up my finger. I kept doing this until I got all of my scenes in the correct order. This took about twenty minutes because, I had to look back at my storyboard to get the right order of the scenes. After doing this I start cutting out the extra parts of the scenes that are not supposed to be there to do this I click on the video I want to cut something off of it. I use the while line and move it to the part I want to cut. Click on the "spilt" option then after it splits I click on the part the got spilt it and click on the "delete" option. I did this until I got rid of all of the extra parts or unneeded parts I thought that wouldn't fit well with the film. This process took around twenty to twenty five minutes to do. That's all I did for that day. Thank you for reading and see you in my next blog to continue editing!

Music Video

 Hi thank you for watching.

Doing a film review + adding changes to it

On March 11 I had my sister do a film review of my opening sequence. My sister reviewed it and said that she liked the beginning shot and the music chosen for the beginning of the opening sequence. However, she did make a few suggestions to change the lightning to make it have a more mysterious vibe. So, one of the first changes I made was to adjust the lighting to darker. To do this I clicked on my opening sequence went to the bottom of the options and chose "adjust". With these options, I was able to adjust my lighting to make it have a more mysterious vibe. She also suggested to increase the volume of the main character talking because she couldn't understand what she said in the opening sequence. I went into CapCut to fix these by increasing the volume on the parts where the main character is speaking. To do this I clicked on the audio of the scene where she was talking and there was an option to increase the volume so, I just adjusted the volume to higher to make su...

Production Blog choosing the app, importing photos, and music

I started to begin working on my All About Me commercial. I'm really excited to work on it because it's my first time making a commercial. The first thing I did was look for an editing app. There were many to choose from so, this process took a while. Many of them looked hard to use. I asked my teacher which one and she recommended capcut. I never used capcut before so, it was an interesting experience. When I got into the app it was a little bit confusing. I figured it out and made a project on there. I named it "AICE Media Studies All About Me commercial." I chose the videos and the photos I already planned to use. I needed to add the music. This was hard for me because I didn't know how to get the music. I asked my sister and she told me I had to download it. I downloaded both of my songs and imported them into capcut. I started to work on cutting my videos to show the parts I wanted to use. I did this for all of my videos because most of them were too long and...
